She Works Hard For The Hotty*

Usually when I am at the ol' part time job I can be a total Debbie Downer, but with my reminder to myself to be more positive in negative situations, I have taken to creating things to look forward to. Lately it has been the increase in eye candy in the store and when stuck in a place for 8 hours, there's nothing better than something good to look at. (Well, one thing better would be to be sent home but still paid.) And holy hell have there been some fine, young gentleman in there lately!

+ UK Pants Guy- This is a regular and yes, he has an accent. NotMiranda actually got the ball rolling with him by commenting on said pants. I just hope he doesn't keep wearing them everyday in hopes that we will comment again. We do like other articles of clothing, too.

+ Knit Cap Guy- I wonder if you noticed when I looked deep into your eyes as you told me what you wanted. Connection-did you feel that? Please come back. I know what you'll want next time;)

+ Hot, Charming, Coworker- Oh wait, an empty category. I have high hopes for new hires.

+ Tall Guy With Too Short Girl- Dump her. She's too short and you're going to hurt your back bending over so far to speak loudly so she can hear you. I'm more on your level.

+ Randoms- Come back soon, please. So far you have just been blips on the radar, but if you come back, I promise you a nickname and some eyelash batting.

*So bad. I know.

Please...we are so going for the UK guy. Yum to the nth! NotCarrie failed to mention that he proceeded to find us and stand by our table in the cafe...I like to thinks in hopes that we would talk to him further.

it's when he STOPS wearing the pants in search of a comment you start to worry. ;-)

We definitely want to bring the UK guy onto our immediate radar. And NotMiranda is right, he totally came over!

i am jealous of this other UK guy

am i not good enough?
:(
oh well iguess he has the advantage of being there and not here for a start

totally with you on the having somehting to look at while at work front...the pub usually only puts men in front of me, but there are the rare occasions that a nice young lady steps through the door and comes up to the bar to order a drink (usually with her fella in tow though)

and as for too tall ugy
it's easy done when you're tall, trust me there, i'm usually with girls who are a fair bit shorter than me, although one or two have been nearly a foot and a half shorter than me

How tall are you, PX?

NotCarrie said...

And you're still my #1 in the blogosphere!

He stood by your table and you didn't continue to talk to him, why?

Perhaps I'm one of the guys that marko is referring to that "just don't get it"...

I woulda thought y'all were just not interested. That is, assuming I thought the pants comments were a form of interest to begin with.

Sadly (?), I own no pants that are made like any country's flag.

I forgot about the only plus of working with customers...

Good job on thinking positive :)

i'm about 6'3" so it's not like i'm over the top tall or anything
but i get called big pete ;)

Ah, Anonymous, you have hit on one of the stumbling blocks of some of us Not girls. We can bold with the best of them, but sometimes we also get incredibly shy. ; )

Well, he did come over by our table, but it was not clear what he was doing. I know it sounds like he stood there and we ignored him...we did not. Looking back, it was more like he was doing a "heyyyy, look at my pants again, ladies!"

Px- hott.

it's not hot at the moment, it's bloody cold...i need some warming up ;)

PX- *must get passport*

Hey, you're going to make those trying to Google up a relationship between us very disappointed. :)

The dude had pants with the UK flag? Is he like Austin Powers or something?

And that's totally one of the upshots of working retail. My weekend job is sadly much better for guy-watching than girl-watching. Boooooo. But I think one of the women I work with there could probably start her own fan club and charge, so yay for her!

Senor- My favorite UK guy in the blogosphere, of course.

Oh, Google.
