Since I'm doing a fine job of holding to the No Sex of No Sex & the City, I've been hard-pressed to find something to write about. I haven't stopped noticing all of the attractive men I run across though. They pass me on the street, work with me in the office, stride through my dreams. I am constantly in amazement of how we each find such different things attractive. Don't get me wrong...this is an awesome survival instinct. I'd hate for us all to be fighting for the same kind of mate! I like my guys tall in the extreme and prefer to quirky to the beautiful. I appreciate the Brad Pitts of the world but fall in love with the Adrian Brodys. Dark hair, a little shaggy...big, rough hands. I want to be made to laugh and want a little passion about something (don't even care if that something is Star Trek). I do have my eye on a guy right now that seems to fit my "type", but it's proceeding at mach zero. In the interim, I dream date.

Great. Now all I can think about is Brad Pitt.
I agree with tall and passionate about something. Oh and laughing is A MUST.
Oh I totally go for the Adrian Brodys. Slightly nerdy, but in an endearing way is always cute.
I love the tall men too with a crazy sense of humor and certain quiet intelligence. Although I love pretty boys--they need some scruff ala Colin Farrell or Johny Depp. Or my current major crush...Raoul Bava. Yum.
I don't think I actually have a type. Chalk me up for an intelligent guy anyday, one who can have long discourse about anything and everything under the sun....one that I don't have to define multi-syllabic words to all the time, one who throws in a word not often used just to get me to smile...yeah, the intelligent type is my type. In whatever packaging
I hate to tell you...but we seem to be vying for the same type of guys.
Linny, that's exactly what I was thinking! haha
NotMiranda, you do know that NotElvis is OFF LIMITS, right? ;-)
Have any of us Not girls ever gone after the same guy? Like REALLY after him? Maybe don't remind me if we have...
NotCarrie, I don't think we ever have...
Wow, I think that's a first with any of the girl friends I've had over the years.
Yeah, we'll usually agree on who is hott or worthy of us (haha), but I can't recall having a problem with anyone. That's good.
Clueless- Don't clowns-scary! (I knew what you meant though:)
It's a popular type. Luckily, there are many variations ; ) And to NotCharlotte...no worries re: NotElvis...seriously.
I guess we women can all agree on something. We want them tall...for me this is a deal breaker usually (I need someone who is not boob height by the time I don a pair of three inch heels), but I've learned to appreciate the quirky and interesting that is outside of this physical requirements.
I am 6'3", work out at least 4 times a week, intense politically, passionate about social issues, like sci fi, like movies and can fix stuff around the apartment as fast as I can break it.
Ladies, please, one at a time.
